At RSA we
are able to assess noise from your premises and compare
it to environmental standards such as BS4142 and PPG24
for planning purposes or to support a prescribed process
application under the permit scheme introduced by the Pollution
Prevention and Control Regulations 2000.
 We have fully trained and competent staff who are members
of the Institute of Acoustics which is the recognised
body regarding noise assessment. In addition all of our
consultants are qualified EHO’s who have worked
within local authorities so they are able to fully understand
the effect that a noise source will have on a receiver
and provide a report that fully addresses nuisance issues.
A fully digitised Type 1 sound level meter is used with
the capability of recording noise levels in third octaves.
This means that highly accurate noise levels can be measured
and used to produce both graphical and technical analysis
with recommendations to ensure that you comply with legislation.
